手づくりベーグル♪

ベーグル大好きで、ときどき焼いています。

人気ですよね～。あちこちにベーグル専門店があります。

日本のベーグルは柔らかめ。

でも本格的に硬いのもあり、自分の好きなのを選べるところもいいです。

私はやや硬いのが好きです。

きょうは抹茶とねじめびわ茶を使い、米粉と粟粉も入れて焼きました。

おいしいです～。

I baked bagel.

I love bagels.

They are very popular and you can find many bagel bakeries in Japan.

Mostly the bagels you can find in Japan are soft,

but can find hard types as well.

I prefer harder ones.

Today I baked this with some matcha powder and Nejime Japan medler leaf tea,

with rice and fox tale millet flour.

Taste nice!

ゆでしらす Boiled whitebait

ゆでしらすは江の島名物。

シンプルに茹でたのが美味しいですね。

The boiled whitebait is one of the most popular food in Japan.

If you visit the Enoshimam island, you can see the restaurants

with various whitebaits (Shirasu) on the menu.

茶豆 Brown soy beans

茶豆を買いました。茶色の大豆です。
大豆はよく見ますし、枝豆で茶豆というのもよく見るようになりましたが
豆の状態ではあまり見ないですよねえ。

煮豆にしておいしく食べました！


I bought some brown soy beans.
I think they are popular now as one of Edamame kinds,
but I usually don't see them as dry beans.
The soy beans are common, but the brown type is less common.
I like beans and can't resist buying the 'strange' ones!

I boiled these brown ones and had a nice meal. (^o^)

さばサンド Fried mackerel sandwich

さばサンドが美味しい。

最近、魚系のサンドイッチも人気のもよう。

谷中のお散歩ついでに萩荘に立ち寄り、見つけました。

I enjoyed this mackerel sandwich.

Lately we often see fish sandwiches here and there .

I found this at Hagiso cafe, Yanaka, Tokyo.

ピザ Pizza

友だちとピザ屋さんでランチをいただきました。

ピザはどこでも人気のメニュー。

東京、池袋の【A】PIZZAにて、ペスカトーレです。

I had nice lunch of pizza with my friend,

at a pizza restaurant 【A】PIZZA, Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

Pizza is popular everywhere.

ことりのムースケーキ Birdie cake

あまりのキュートさに負けて買ってしまいました。

セブンイレブンのスイーツ、ことりのムースケーキです。

ふわふわケーキの中身は生クリームと3種のベリーのクリーム。

イチゴ、ラズベリー、ブルーベリーです。

コンビニスイーツ、侮れません！

I couldn't resist buying the cake of this cute birdie!

It's one of the latest sweet products from the convenience store Seven Eleven.

The fluffy cake is filled with the whipped cream 

and  the cream of 3 different berries; strawberry, raspberry and blueberry.

タケノコ Bamboo shoot

初夏の味覚、タケノコを買いました。

I bought Takenoko(bamboo shoot), it's one of our early summer delicacies.

皮をムキムキ

At first, you need to strip the skin of bamboo.

そしてカット。

And cut it.

食べやすい大きさにカット。

Cut into smaller size.

今回、我が家では大根おろしに1時間つけることであく抜きをしました。

This time, I put the bamboo shoot into grated radish for 1 hour to remove the harsh taste. 

醤油で煮てできました。

Simmered with the soy sauce, now you can eat. ＾＾
