ことりのムースケーキ Birdie cake

あまりのキュートさに負けて買ってしまいました。

セブンイレブンのスイーツ、ことりのムースケーキです。

ふわふわケーキの中身は生クリームと3種のベリーのクリーム。

イチゴ、ラズベリー、ブルーベリーです。

コンビニスイーツ、侮れません！

I couldn't resist buying the cake of this cute birdie!

It's one of the latest sweet products from the convenience store Seven Eleven.

The fluffy cake is filled with the whipped cream 

and  the cream of 3 different berries; strawberry, raspberry and blueberry.

ずんだロール Zunda roll

仙台土産、ずんだロールをいただきました。
「ずんだ」は、枝豆やソラマメをつぶしてつくるもので、
ずんだ餅などが有名ですよね。

これは生クリームにずんだが入っているロールケーキで、
甘さもやさしく、おいしいケーキでした。

モンブラン Mont Blanc

モンブラン。
栗クリームと生クリームが絶妙ですよね。

昔の日本のモンブランは栗のクリームが黄色でしたね。
あれは、栗きんとんのやりかたで、くちなしを使った染付をしてたからだそうです。

もともとのヨーロッパのモンブランは栗の自然な色で、
最近は日本でも淡い茶色のクリームのものが多くなりました。

でも、モンブラン＝白い山、ですから
もっと以前は白いクリームだったそうです。

Chestnut cream and whipped cream are in a fine balance!

Montblanc we could see before was with yellow chestnut cream in Japan.
In the manner of Kurikinton(traditional chestnuts and mashed sweet potato)
it was dyed with gardenia.

Lately we can see the natural pale brown cream in Japan.

But Mont Blanc = white mountain ,
so they say it was originally with the white cream long time ago.
